I hand braid our cinch connectors using 1/2" red latigo. Braiding them eliminates the need for rivets or stitching, both of which rot and wear out much more quickly.
Cinch connectors, as the name implies, connects the back cinch to the front cinch. The buckle style connector is used on rear cinches made with a buckle in the front. The tongue on the cinch connector attaches to the buckle on the back cinch and the snap attaches to the front cinch.
